I've got the Backerkit pledge manager up and running. Since DARK NATION only had one tier, and all I need to deliver is your email address, there's not actually anything for you to manage.

We're going Into the dark

Hello Amazing Gamers!
The DARK NATION kickstarter has wrapped up, and we're completely funded. Along the way we've unlocked extra scenarios and extra dark nations, and I'm really looking forward to getting the finished product into your hands.
Today I've been adding some finishing touches to the dark Britain of 1985, where there is no such thing as society. I've also made a start on the layout.
Tomorrow I'll work out how to use Backerkit to set up pre-orders for anyone who missed the kickstarter, and to offer you guys access to other Amazing Tales products at discounted prices (PDFs only).
Another date looming on my calendar later this month is The Kraken gaming convention, where I'll be running a session of Dark Nation, which will be an excellent chance to test out some character sheet layouts.
Anyway, I'm delighted that more than 200 of you have pledged to support the game, and looking forward to hearing how your games go.

Another stretch goal down, last one in sight

Hello Amazing Gamers,
It's been a good weekend for DARK NATION, which means we've unlocked Josh Fox's 'Lockdown' scenario. The only remaining stretch goal is DARK ITALY, and its supporting scenario, and we're closing in on that one fast.
A quick note on timelines... I expect to have the PDF with you all by the end of April. The text of the core product is 95% done, and knocking off the stretch goals early means those writers know what they need to deliver. This week I'll get started on the layout.
As ever, the Print on Demand options can't be delivered until a proof copy has been printed, and the way DriveThruRPG works means that if you make any changes to the PDF file once you've submitted it you have to start the proof process again. So I'll get you guys the PDF, double and triple check for typos and spelling mistakes, and then kick off the Print On Demand process.
From submitting a final file for printing to having that first printed copy in your hands usually takes about a month. So you can expect to get your Print on Demand codes in late May / Early June.

DARK NATION continues to expand...

I know, I said we were done with stretch goals. But it turns out that even as I was writing that message, there were a few messages in my inbox that were too good to ignore. So here we go...
If we get to 1200 Euro, Josh Fox of Black Armada, one of the designers of Lovecraftesque, and the designer of Last Fleet and Flotsam will write us a scenario. Provisionally entitled Lockdown it will feature at least one very large yacht, and a contagious disease. See, I told you these scenarios were too good to ignore.
If we get to 1400 Euro, Daniele di Rubbo, Leonardo Lucci and Antonio Amato will contribute both a scenario, and a dark version of their home nation. We're still working out exactly what DARK ITALY will involve, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what this team of designers come up with.
So, another dark nation and two more scenarios, all for your single 10 euro pledge.
